Goodbye, Goodbye to All
61Terry Jacks Seasons in the Sun
Goodbye My Trusted Friends
Goodbye, Goodbye to all my friends
Fear not for me, this is my destiny; and not my end
I truly need no sympathy, for my heart
It sings unto thee, whom now I see once again
No more will anyone; be skinned alive
Oh no this was not meant for us; this is why He died
Just for Us !
You must trust in this; do not be re-missed
No more descending without cause
This here life was not a bust, it was just; a pause
For ploy after ploy have all of these
The fields became all unploughed
Unbending trees; rooted deep within
That old wretched one, once again
Who was filled with such a treacherous, sea
They all set now on, their bended knee
Satan’s Army running everywhere
No escape for any tare!
Goodbye all my trusted friends
Oh yes this is the end
Of this here Time; It was he; that “It” began
And now this will be; his final end
My friend hear the trumpets sound
Point your face unto the ground
No need to turn around
Let us all dawn our golden crowns
Confess, Confess with all your might
While all the seals are yet broken; give one last little token
For all those seasons in the sun
Now look up, do not run; here comes our Son
As all the vials are poured; unto this dirty sore
Stay bowed unto the floor! Watch out for the flaming sword
As demons hit the ground
And all the others are unbound
Please do not wear a silent frown
This is no longer; our holy ground
This here and now; It is, at an end
Of this Satan’s war; which he had began
Merry minstrels; sing no more
As the Angels do their wanted chores
Reaping up all that what was ever sown
The golden wheat without tares or thrones
Steaming all of these, with their angelic sweat
Teaming with running blood; up unto the horses neck
Bound and chained unto his gate; Hell
For this one here it is too late!

Awesome!!! I am now a follower :-) ~hugs~
The book of Revelation so beautifully told. Great message there sailor man. Awesome :)
What a wonderful poem Sinbadsailorman. Thank you. Lately I've been thinking about how the enemy complicates and frustrates our daily lives, sometimes to the point where I want to give up, not because I don't believe in God, because I do! But it looks like even the simplest things are not possible to do! I'll keep moving forward, of course, but thanks for writing about the difficulties of life.
